About Dawn

I am a freelance Creative Practitioner.  I believe in the power of the arts and how it can connect and empower individuals and communities. I have over 30 years experience of working in the Arts and for the past 15 years I have developed my work with learning disabled children and adults as well as other 'hard to reach' disadvantaged individuals or groups.

In 2016 set up DDArts. DDArts  specialise in working with people who have Learning Disabilities.

Communication is key and the individual voice of the people I work with, whether it is to discover, explore, develop or perform, is central to all the work I do.

I recently qualified as a Signalong Trainer and am now delivering training for the National Autistic Society.
